Research Interests:

My academic interests lie in biomedical engineering, where I am completing a thesis investigating the role of inflammation in the growth of abdominal aortic aneurysms. Upon conclusion of this project, I aim to have developed a computational model capable of demonstrating growth of the aneurysm due to different factors.

Hobbies & Interests:

In addition to travelling and spending time with family and friends, music and sport are my great passions. I love folk/indie/old school rock, but will listen to pretty much anything as long as it's not aussie hip-hop or face-melting heavy metal. I do not like these. Most of my free time is seen playing basketball, the drums, or the guitar. I follow any and all sports, but have a particular interest in the NBA and English Premier League soccer. I also enjoy swimming and being around the water, and have participated in the Rottnest swim 5 times in the last 6 years. I spent July 2010 – July 2011 attending Sheffield University in England as a study abroad student.
