Research Interests:

My research focuses on the haemodynamics, progression and site specificity of aneurysmal disease. I use numerical tools, such as computational fluid dynamics (CFD) to investigate the relationships between physical flow behaviour, and the occurrence of inflammation and thrombus deposition. This work ranges from studies of large arteries, to the investigation of coronary artery stenosis.

Hobbies & Interests:

When not stuck behind a computer I invest most of my time playing guitar. Although, I enjoy the odd sail, bush walk, or dream about novel, thermodynamically-inefficient ways to cool beer.

Prizes & Awards:

Australian Postgraduate Award (2015)
ISML Computational Biomechanics for Medicine Top-Up Scholarship (2015)
University Club of Western Australia Research Travel Scholarship (2015)
