In-Utero Biomechanics

In collaboration with the Wyrwoll Lab at the UWA School of Human Sciences, we use experimental and computational modelling to assess  fetal and placental tissue structure, haemodynamics and function over pregnancy in both health and disease. This work will also elucidate the developmental origins of cardiovascular disease and provide context for the development of novel in utero diagnostic and therapeutic approaches.
